Melbourne, get ready to celebrate 50 years of UB40! The reggae icons will bring The Unstoppable Tour to Melbourne in May 2027, joined by British soul and R&B legends Soul II Soul for a night packed with classic hits, nostalgia and unforgettable moments.

Four of the surviving founding members remain in UB40, with Robin Campbell, Norman Hassan, Earl Falconer and Jimmy Brown continuing to record and perform together since 1978. The current 11-piece line-up also features Martin Meredith and Laurence Parry, who have been part of UB40’s iconic brass section for over 30 years, alongside Matt Campbell on backing vocals, Jamaican keyboardist Jahred Gordon and Brummie MC Gilly G. The band are fronted by lead vocalist Matt Doyle, who has won the hearts of UB40 fans around the world over the past 5 years.

  • Melbourne Park is introducing AXS as its new Official Ticketing Partner. Please note the following ticketing conditions for your event:
    • Ticketek ticket delivery for UB40 has been intentionally delayed. Your tickets will be issued by AXS by mid-October.
    • If you purchased Ticketek tickets and don’t already have an AXS account, one will be created using the email address associated with your Ticketek booking. To access your account, reset your AXS password and follow the prompts to complete your account set up.
    • If you purchased AXS tickets, download the AXS app and sign in to your account before arriving to ensure a smooth entry.
    • Visit our Ticketing page for more information about your tickets and frequently asked questions. Contact AXS for ticketing support, including assistance with ticket delivery if your tickets have not arrived by mid-October.
  • There are several options for your journey to Margaret Court Arena:
    • Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
    • Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking as drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. 
      • Note: Accessible parking must be booked in advance by visiting your event page on AXS and selecting Accessible Parking under Available Offers. Book early, as spaces are limited. Accessible parking bookings made through Ticketek for UB40 before 22 August 2026 remain valid.
  • To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your digital wallet before arriving.
  • Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and larger bags are not permitted.
  • Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Door 7, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking. 
  • All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
  • If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

UB40

For 5 decades, UB40 have pioneered and sustained their distinctive reggae sound, helping popularise the genre globally and becoming the soundtrack to generations of music fans’ lives. Since forming in Birmingham in the late 1970s, the band have become one of the UK’s most successful musical exports and remain one of the biggest-selling and most celebrated reggae acts of all time.

With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, more than 50 UK hit singles and 11 UK Top 10 albums, UB40 are renowned for their sharp political and social commentary, as well as their chart-topping, dancefloor-ready anthems. With a new album in the works, the band continue to showcase the energy, creativity and excitement that have defined their legendary career.

Soul II Soul

Formed in London in the late 1980s, Soul II Soul are pioneers of British soul, R&B and dance music, creating a global movement with their signature fusion of grooves, samples and soulful vocals. Led by Jazzie B, the collective rose to international fame with their iconic debut album Club Classics Vol. One, featuring timeless hits including “Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)” and “Keep On Movin’”.

With a legacy spanning more than three decades, Soul II Soul continue to inspire generations of artists and fans, bringing their unmistakable sound and feel-good energy to stages around the world.
