Arizona rock icons Jimmy Eat World return to Melbourne this December for their biggest ever Australian tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal album, Bleed American.

The tour marks the band’s first Australian headline run since 2017 and the final performances anywhere in the world celebrating the landmark album’s 25th anniversary. Fans will have the chance to experience one of alternative rock’s defining albums performed live in its entirety, alongside many more fan favourites.

Originally released in 2001, Bleed American helped push alternative rock into the mainstream, featuring enduring hits including “The Middle,” “Sweetness,” “A Praise Chorus” and “Bleed American.”

Joining Jimmy Eat World are special guests Ruby Fields and A. Swayze & The Ghosts.

  • AXS will be Melbourne Park’s official ticketing partner from 22 August. To support this transition, ticket delivery for some events has been intentionally delayed. If you have not received your tickets yet, please don’t worry, your booking remains confirmed, and you will receive your tickets before the event from AXS.
  • There are several options for your journey to Margaret Court Arena:
    • Public transport is the quickest and easiest option. Before you attend, plan ahead and allow extra travel time for any major disruptions.
    • Parking is available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard). We strongly recommend pre-booking as drive-up spaces are subject to availability. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. 
      • Note: Accessible parking must be pre-booked via Ticketek. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. 
  • To ensure a smooth entry into the venue, download your tickets to your digital wallet before arriving.
  • Bags must be A4 size or smaller, and larger bags are not permitted.
  • Cloaking is available via the Information Desk at Door 7, or Show Court 3. Any prohibited items listed in the venue Conditions of Entry will not be accepted for cloaking. 
  • All retail outlets are cashless. Any transactions must be made using a credit or debit card.
  • If you have purchased a VIP package, the event promoter will be in contact with details regarding your experience.

Since forming in Mesa, Arizona in 1993, Jimmy Eat World have become one of the most influential alternative rock bands of their generation. Following the success of her acclaimed debut album Been Doin’ It For A Bit, Ruby Fields has continued to build a devoted following through sold-out headline tours, major festival appearances and a reputation for delivering authentic, emotionally charged performances that capture the spirit of contemporary Australian rock.

A. Swayze & The Ghosts

Tasmania’s A. Swayze & The Ghosts have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most electrifying rock bands, combining garage rock, punk energy and razor-sharp hooks into an unmistakable sound. Fronted by Andrew Swayze, the band first gained national attention with their explosive debut album Paid Salvation, earning praise for their frenetic performances and irrepressible songwriting.

Known for their high-octane live shows, the band have performed alongside international heavyweights and appeared at major festivals across Australia and overseas. With a growing catalogue of acclaimed releases and a relentless touring schedule, the band continue to establish themselves as one of the country’s most exciting live acts.
