Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows will bring their biggest global headline tour thus far to Melbourne this December.
The tour news comes in celebration of the band’s highly anticipated third studio album, Model. Wallows will kick off the Model World Tour with 38 dates across North America, Europe and the UK, making their debut performances at some of the world’s most famous venues including New York City’s Madison Square Garden and London’s Alexandra Palace.
Wallows, consisting of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston, have been best friends since they were 11 years old. The trio started playing music together nearly two decades ago in the LA music program Join the Band and haven’t looked back since.
In March 2022, they released their second album, Tell Me That It’s Over, produced by three-time GRAMMY Award winner Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele). The album showcases Wallows’ dynamic sound, blending lo-fi post-punk, indie-folk, and early ’90s dance-pop psychedelia into a unique sonic vision. On stage, the band has headlined sold-out shows worldwide and played at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Reading & Leeds.
