Teddy Swims

A singer and songwriter with a strong, versatile voice that weaves together elements of R&B, soul, hip-hop, and contemporary pop, Teddy Swims began his career posting covers of his favourite songs on social media before he started introducing his own compositions.

Swims’ covers spanned a wide variety of eras and genres, from Marvin Gaye and Shania Twain to Billie Eilish, while showing off the flexibility of his voice and style. He took on a contemporary R&B feel on originals like “Picky” and “Broke,” the latter of which appeared on the 2021 EP Unlearning.

More EPs arrived in 2022, including Tough Love and Sleep Is Exhausting, ahead of Swims’ 2023 debut album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1).

SUPPORT

Meg Mac

Australian neo-soul singer Megan McInerney, who performs under the name Meg Mac, began her career in 2013 when she uploaded a pair of independent singles to her Triple J Unearthed account.

Inspired by artists like Adele and Amy Winehouse and classic soul acts like Sam Cooke and Ray Charles, her star rose throughout 2014 as she continued releasing singles, toured, and prepared her debut EP, MEGMAC, which was released in June 2015.

The EP earned Mac an ARIA Music Award nomination and yielding the hit single “Never Be.” Her full-length debut, Low Blows, arrived in the summer of 2017 and was preceded by a single of the same name. The single “Give Me My Name Back” arrived in 2018 and would eventually land on her 2019 release Hope.
