Melbourne & Olympic Parks (M&OP) is calling for expressions of interest from electrical contractors to carry out the installation, testing and commissioning works on the sports lighting upgrade at Margaret Court Arena (MCA).
M&OP are currently preparing for an upgrade of the existing sports lighting infrastructure within MCA and have appointed a supplier for the required LED luminaires and controllers.
We are now seeking to appoint an electrical contractor to carry out the installation, testing, and commissioning works.
The successful contractor will be required to demonstrate experience in delivering similar upgrade projects to a high standard, and experience in managing projects around a busy events schedule.
The timeline for installation is currently from September to November 2022.
The scope of works under this contract will include:
- Replacement of existing fittings with new LED fittings (to be supplied by M&OP), including the supply of required brackets.
- Disposal of all existing, redundant sortslighting infrastructure.
- Programming in conjunction with LED Supplier and other contractors.
- All cabling and electrical works.
- Commissioning and testing.
- Onboarding and managing subcontractors required to deliver the works as required.
