American indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie deliver melodic songwriting, introspective lyricism and enduring influence that define 21st century alternative music. Formed in 1997 in Bellingham, Washington, the band emerged as an underdog college-radio act led by Ben Gibbard’s heartfelt, literate writing. Influenced by artists like The Smiths and Elliott Smith, they broke into the mainstream with Transatlanticism, featuring “The Sound of Settling” and “Title and Registration”.
Across nearly 3 decades, Death Cab for Cutie have evolved into pillars of modern indie rock, with a catalogue spanning 10 studio albums and multiple GRAMMY nominations. As they enter a new era with fresh music on the way, the band continue to connect through honest storytelling and timeless songwriting that resonates across generations.

Acopia is a band from Naarm/Melbourne formed in 2018 by Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan and Morgan Wright. Working with restraint, atmosphere and emotional nuance, the trio craft music that unfolds slowly and deliberately, guided by instinct rather than excess. Their debut album Chances was released in 2022 via Melbourne imprint Companion, followed by their self-titled sophomore album in 2023, further establishing their distinctive blend of dream-pop, electronic textures and understated songwriting.
Since then, Acopia have sold out headline shows across Australia, the UK and Europe, while performing at festivals including Wide Awake, Les Nuits Botanique and Golden Plains. They have also shared stages with artists including Bar Italia, Tirzah and Raisa K.
